Ending Hunger In Maine – Bikes, Beans, and Mean Machines Ride/Car Show

Each year we host our Bikes, Beans, and Mean Machines Ride/Car Show to raise money for the Ending Hunger in Maine campaign. This is a 100-mile ride through the Maine countryside. It starts at the credit union and ends at a local venue where all riders will enjoy a traditional bean supper, entertainment, and raffle prizes. All money raised goes to the Ending Hunger in Maine campaign!

Its current vitality is a credit to the vision of the founders, the hard work of all those affiliated with the organization over the years, and the generosity of the community. From world-class productions to education and workshops. The Penobscot Theatre Company is a thrilling and vital part of our community. Click here for more information about Penobscot Theatre Company and what they have to offer.

Random Acts of Kindness

We purchased an RV and had it wrapped in our colors and staff photos. We have named it appropriately “CU on Wheels”. This gives us the opportunity to provide “mobile banking” in a different way as well as random acts of kindness in the community. Some of these random acts of kindness include purchasing heating oil for a member who was affected by the Coronavirus, buying gas for someone at the gas station, purchasing someone’s lunch or groceries. We love to give back to our community! Watch for our CU on Wheels to see where we stop next!
